About our Partners, Staff and Associates:
We have a cadre of 25 consultants who partner with us for instructional delivery, small group facilitation, executive, career and life coaching, and organizational development. We can pull in the skills that we need on an ad hoc basis, keeping your costs down and maintaining flexibility in what we can do and how quickly we can provide support for you. Our consultants have at least a bachelor’s degree and industry certification or master’s or doctorate degrees. They are part of their own consulting firms and work for us as independent contractors – they are available through us for both long- and short-term engagements. You contract through us, and we manage them for you and don’t add to your administrative burden. We have smooth transitions between engagements and, if needed, during engagements.
Dr. Janice Witt Smith
Dr. Janice Witt Smith has a B.S. degree in Business Management from Indiana University, an MBA with a concentration in HR from Virginia Tech, along with a PhD in human resource management,, organizational behavior, labor relations, and organizational theory and minor in I/O Psychology. Dr. Smith has over 35 years of work experience in a variety of industries and has been an HR consultant since 1989. She is also a professor of management at Winston-Salem State University, recently received the UNC Board of Governor’s Highest Teaching Award, has developed curricula, delivered training, created leadership development programs and small business institutes, created outreach programs for the Triad and Triangle Communities. Our company is an approved site to provide HRCI-certification credits for your HR Professionals as well. I am certified on at least 15 psychological instruments, and am a published author, researcher, and frustrated pianist and tap dancer.
Mr. William “Will” Smith
Mr. William “Will” Smith has over 30 years of experience in financial services, is the CFO and Vice President of J.W. Smith and Associates, LLC. He has a B.S. Degree in Management from Radford University and is an Associate in Claims with an adjustor’s license and experience in investigations, problem solving, negotiations, and conflict management.
We work very closely with the Clemons Group, where President Patrick Clemons has an MBA in Finance from Wake Forest, as well as an electrical engineering degree from NC State and national certification as a Project Manager. H. Janelle Clemons is Vice President and is a certified Professional in Human Resources with a degree Management from North Carolina State and over ten years as a compensation analyst and generalist in Human Resource Management and in HR consulting.
We have consultants who are bilingual and can deliver training and coaching in Spanish. We have experience with both for-profit and non-profit organizations, with satisfied customers in educational and religious organizations, healthcare organizations, educational institutions, energy, financial services, and defense organizations, among others.
